Bringing Wheelchair Accessible Vehicles services to you

Medi WAV Limited was established in January 2020 by Julian and Shaun.

Our aim is to build on our many years of experience in the field of PTS to provide a high quality timely, safe, caring, customer focused Patient Transport Service (PTS).

The service is available to low risk patients who do not need an ambulance to get to or from hospital for appointments, GP surgeries, school or trips out, but do need additional support to access these. Traditionally the only options available has been taxi services that may not be able to provide patients with the same level of care that they would normally get from a PTS service. We aim to ensure all users of our service can expect the same level of care and quality associated with traditional PTS.

Our service centres around supplying wheelchair accessible vehicles with drivers trained to the highest level.

Our staff understand the importance of their role, and are dedicated to ensuring patients receive the best possible service, that is safe, comfortable, caring, and responsive.

Our staff are trained to show patients courtesy and respect at all times irrespective of a patients ethnic or racial origin, gender, sexuality, religion, spiritual needs, cultural and linguistic background and any disability they may have or the nature of their health condition.

Our staff are trained in first aid, manual handling safeguarding vulnerable adults and children, dementia and mental health awareness, infection control and Health and Safety.

All vehicles are wheelchair accessible with a manual ramp, the latest infection control measures and air-conditioning.
